Plant Essentials

Fertilizer/ feed for the plant: Fertilise your Areca Palm every two weeks in summers and spring with a standard houseplant fertilizer. Fronds of the palm benefit from a good micronutrient-rich fertilizer.

2. Why are my Areca Palm leaves yellowing?
The leaves/fronds of Areca Palm are yellow due to irregular watering and a parched plant. Water your plant regularly whenever the topsoil dries out. Ensure that the soil is moist at all times but not soggy.
3. Brown tips of Areca Palm leaves.
Browning tips of Areca Palm leaves is caused by over-watering, insufficient light, or low humidity. If over-watering seems to be the issue, water it less frequently and only when the topsoil dries out.
